When Working with some DNG files, I started noticing an odd outlining halo-like
effect on certain images with a strong area of contrast, after increasing
either Fill light or Recovery. None of the other adjustments in ACR seemed to
produce this. The effect becomes more or less pronounced depending on what
other adjustments are made.
This is rather disconcerting, as these are two of the most compelling features
of the new ACR.
Anyone else run into this? Have enclosed two screen shots. One with no post
processing and one with Fill Light only adjusted.
Thanks
