Photoshop CS3 Doesn't Launch

So after a day complete frustration (beta uninstall issues and reinstalling
release version issues) I finally got it to work...somewhat. Bridge works,
Device Central works, Photoshop - does not work. Everytime I try to launch PS
on my OS X system it just bounces in the dock for about 15-20 seconds then just
stops and nothing happens.

Is this a known issue at all? Is there a work around, I have been surfing the
net trying to find a fix but have come up with nothing.

Thanks for the help.

We have the script ready for the Mac. I'd suggest cleaning your system and
re-installing.
The script for the Mac is here:

Mac OS X - http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cs3clean.html

Windows script is coming soon, they're telling me by the end of the week.

Be specific. What happens (or does nothing happen)? Do you get an error message?

I run the script it jumps in the dock then disappears and nothing happens. Kinda like what photoshop cs3 does now :(

Okay, can you start up Terminal manually, and type this command:

sudo python /Volumes/MacCS3Clean/MacCS3Clean/CS3Clean.py

Make sure the script disk image is mounted and on your desktop.

Ok, opened terminal - pasted in the text you gave and it came back as "-bash:
/Volumes/MacCS3Clean/MacCS3Clean/CS3Clean.py: Permission denied". Can't seem to
get past the permission denied part now.

Have any more tricks up your sleeve? ;) Thanks for the help thus far - I
really appreciate it.

Sounds like you're having general OS X permissions problems. Make sure you have admin privileges, and fire up Disk Utility to Repair permissions on your boot volume, then try the script again.
