Before we get too carried away, could you please read the top post in the forum on how to manually uninstall? We're working on a new script and it will be posted asap. thanks

You Mac guys weren't alone. The Beta version, even after complete uninstall, killed bridge for both CS2 & 3 on my windoze machine.

Will the new script work even if the manual uninstall didn't? I've tried the
manual uninstall twice now. It results in a "The Installer Database is
corrupt" when I try to install the released CS3. If I just uninstall the beta,
before doing the manual steps, the installer does run but gives the complaint
about conflicting with the existing CS3. So I'm stuck either way.

The manual uninstall instructions worked for me on a Mac Pro and worked on a MacBook Pro after logging in as "root". Now both installs are complete.

I'm trying to uninstall CS3 Beta and install Photoshop CS3 Standard, since I
got an email from ***@adobe.com on 04/16/2007 "Your Download is Now
Available".
I'm working on a Pentium 4, Win XP, SP2, 4gb of Ram.
I've tried everything I found on the net, including TechNote
http://www.adobe.com/go/kb401492
Finally I installed back CS3 Beta, but it refused my CS2 serial number. I
entered the brand new CS3 Standard serial number and it works.
How can I install Photoshop CS3 Standard on win xp?
