Hi All
I loaed the CS3 Beta to use while I wait for my CS3 to arrive. While working
on a document I sudernly lost all my fonts. They have been reduced to a list
of around 10 from aroun 60. Any otion in the main tool bar related to type is
now highlighed in red? I tried rebooting and then reloaded CS2. My fonts are
now gone from CS2. They apper in my system font library but not in PS CS2 or
3? I'm running a Mac Pro G5 with Intels on OS X 10.4.9. Any help please!

If its an intel its not a G5. G5 means it has a PPC IBM chip.

Fonts need to be activated with a font manager like FontBook or FontAgent Pro before they can be used. have you done this.

Sorry, it's a 2X3 GHz Quad-Core Intel Xeon Mac. I have not activated my fonts
with a font manager. My problem is that it was working fine then stopped
working and now my CS2 is suffering the same problem, that version I ran for
years on my G5 1.8 without a "font manager" or any font issues. What's up
with all the text options now being highlighted in red? Thanks for getting
back to me.

I just got everything sorted out. It was a Mac OS problem. My font's were the
first thing to go, then I lost my tablet drivers, then printer drivers etc.
etc.. After over 5 hours of stress and being on the phone, Mac support sorted
it with the disk utility.
Thanks for the ealier advice.
