ACR4 was correctly transferring an image into PSCS3 with the Open command. Then
I downloaded and installed the latest Bridge update and now when I click Open
in ACR4 I get returned to Bridge and the image isn't transferred to Photoshop.
I tried redownloading and reinstalling Bridge with no change. Could it be
cooincidental that my problem started whit the new Bridge? How can I
correct/troubleshoot this problem? The other ACR4 choices such as Save and Done
all seem to work correctly. Thanks for any help.

For what it's worth, I'm having the same issue.

I am also having the same issue. I tried resetting file handling preferences in
CS3, setting file association preferences in Bridge and ACR preferences n
Bridge. No luck.

Hope the shipping product corrects this.

Just discovered this in the release notes over on the Bridge CS3 forum:

Mac/Win: Open RAW file via Bridge Camera Raw and click on Open button in
Camera Raw window. Photoshop is not launched as expected.
Workaround: Shift-double-click the RAW file in the Bridge window to open in
Photoshop (note on windows: Photoshop may not come to the front when launched
or if already running).
