Component Install Failed

Trying to install my CS3 upgrade and it completes the install but only
successfully installs "Shared components"

And fails to install:
"Adobe Photoshop CS3"

and
"Shared Components"

Bridge gets installed and is runnable.

I did have the beta version installed and uninstalled it from add/remove
programs but forgot to deactivate it.... not sure if thats causing the issue.
I ran thru the steps to delete the registry entries listed in the sticky
uninstall script message at the top of this forum but no luck.

Anyone????
