Install fails -error with vga resolution or higher

I have tried to install photoshop Elements 5.0 trial version. I receive an
error message saying "This program required VGA or higher resolution".
I have Windows XP sp2, running on IBM Thinkpad x31
34 GB disk, 2GB space
512 Mb RAM
Not sure about the video adapter - maybe ATI Mobility RAEDON
Any help would be appreciated.

You're in the wrong forum. This forum is for the Photoshop CS3 beta only
and it has nothing to do with Elements.
