can cs3 raw converter be used after expiry of cs3 beta

does anyone know if the raw converter can continue to be used after the beta
version of cs3 is withdrawn someone has told me that it can but i cant see any
information on this or will i have to upgrade to cs3 to continue access with
this raw converter

ACR 4 only works with CS3.

I would imagine that your installation of ACR4 would die when the CS3 Beta dies ? unless you buy and install the final version of CS3?

If you try to open a DNG which you made through ACR4 in Photoshop CS3 it opens
in ACR 3.

And Tiffs with ACR4 sidecars will open in CS3 only as Tiffs ? CS3 doesn't
recognise them as Camera RAW files at all.
